PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday inaugurated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-23 Inter-Regional Games carrying more than 3000 male and female athletes here at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium.
The most awaited Games carrying 15 male and 13 female events to be played on different venues and would continue for the three-day. Besides Imran and his lot of fans, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sport Minister Mehmood Khan, former information minister Shah Farman, Minister for Education Atifur Rehman, CM’s Adviser on Information and Higher Education Mushtaq Ghani, Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Azam Khan, Additional Secretary Sports and Tourism Tariq Khan, Organising Committee and Deputy Secretary Sports Chairman Adil Saeed Safi, Director General Sports Rashida Ghaznavi, former World champion Qamar Zaman, people from different walk of life, leading sports personalities, officials, players and large number of spectators were also present.
