ISLAMABAD: Police arrested six criminals on Sunday and recovered cash, fake currency, wine and weapons from their possession.
According to details, police arrested Kabeer Ismail and recovered cash and one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him while Zahid Majeed was taken into custody over possession of fake currency. Police also nabbed Ehsan Masih and recovered 20 litres liquor from him. Meanwhile, Sajjad, Arshad Mehmud and Adnan were apprehended over alleged involvement in illegally selling petroleum products.
Cases have been registered against the arrested and further investigation is underway from them. Authorities also nabbed four beggars during a crackdown against professional alm-seeking.
