ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has made the country a land of opportunity and best country for investment.
Addressing a photo exhibition to mark fiftieth anniversary of Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) contribution in Pakistan here on Tuesday, he said that Pakistan was a development hub of Asian Countries in the world.
He said that the CPEC would attract more investment in the country which was also more secure. He said that International Monetary Fund was also supporting Pakistan in its development process. He said that Sustainable Development Goals were its own developmental policy. Ahsan said that the role of ADB is impartial for development of the country.
He appreciated ADB for infrastructure development in Pakistan. He said that Karachi-Peshawar Line (ML1) would bring revolution in the development of Pakistan Railways.
