OKARA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Supreme Court did not save Nawaz Sharif but democracy.
He expressed his views on Wednesday while talking to former MNA of PPP and District President Chaudhry Sajjadul Hassan, Punjab PSF General Secretary Asif Khan Balooch, Okara PPP Secretary Information Kazim Pasha and former Punjab assistant advocate general Izharul Haq on telephone.
Bilawal taking a dig at present government said that torture on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers by the Pakistan Muslim League-N government has exposed it adding that the cowardly government itself locked down the Islamabad.
PPP chairman said that the PPP has faced all these phases and its aim merely to protect the democracy adding that “we would not let anyone to derail the democracy system in the country. “Nawaz Sharif wants to bring monarchy in the country, PPP’s protest wait for November 7, he added.”
