MARDAN: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan said on Thursday that his party would not be part of any movement against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
“Also, the ANP will not demand prime minister’s resignation unless the proposed judicial commission proves him guilty,” Khan said at a press conference here. He demanded across-the-board accountability. “There is no holy cow.
Everyone should be held accountable, including load defaulters and those who got their loans written off,” said the ANP chief.
Referring to the war of words between the opposition and the government in the wake of the Panama leaks, Khan said that it was not the issue of offshore companies; it was a war between the “Throne of Lahore” and the “Throne of Islamabad”.
